No - "if" we lose the semi, I think you'll find there's a 3rd/4th place play off. But we're not going to lose are we?

Some outstanding performances - but if I managed England, I'd ditch Sterling. Sorry, but he's not a finisher at this level.

Extra time in the Russia-Croatia match, that should tire them out a fair bit....now 2-1 to Croatia, and their goalkeeper has hamstring problems.

He's fast, a tad lacking in the confidence when he reaches the box. France have a couple like him, just as fast who do know how to finish!

The ref made a big difference today, very good, took control, not having any nonsense. Plus no Latin American theatricals of course! 

I kinda agree about Sterling. He does though have tremendous pace, and that might, just might be decisive. That said, my pick would be Rashford. Fortunately, I don’t have to pick the team, and so far, Southgate has done pretty good 😉
