New England Manager

Why would any sane person want the job. The press will be on your back from day one, club managers will be reluctant to release players and the team will be rubbish.  Lot of the talk is about Eddie Howe but I'm not sure he wants it.

IMO  The best choice would be  --- Rafael "Rafa" Benítez Maudes. --- Good manager. --- Proven track record.

An English manager and I don't know who.  It won't matter much whilst most premier teams are made up of foreigners. It's about time IMO that there was a limit on foreign players otherwise England as a footballing nation will cease to exist.

The problem is that there isn't an English born manager who has the right credentials for the job. The usual suspects, Southgate, Howe, Bruce and Pardew, are certainly not world class managers. Don't know who to suggest, apart from waiting for Arsene Wenger, if he would take it after his contract with Arsenal ends.

At least he bows out with a 100% win record!

I don't care what nationality the new manager is, the main thing is their ability to do the job. 

How about someone who will do it for wage of 'only' a few hundred thousand, instead of a few million?

A sane person or not does not come into it. Do the job for a short period fo time. Do a runner and have lots of money to buy the motorhome or caravan of your choice!
