How's your footy team doing?

I'm starting this thread again because it seems to have been a casualty of the change over to the new site. The Terriers scecured another away win last night at Burton. Two wins in a row now after a barren spell. It'll all go pear shaped on Friday when we go to Norwich because the game is to be televised , we haven't won on the telly for ages.

Just wait 'til the Agents & Others start seriously whispering in their ears, Rog. Some will be well advised while others will think all Birthdays & Christmasses have turned up together and holding a winning Lottery ticket to boot.

From what I've read, seen and heard , I feel Crewe may well be shot down in the replay Brian .😀🛩🛩.

Oh, WE of little Faith   Trellis,  Mate  embarassed

Crewe Alexandra F.C. 3 -- 1  Eastleigh

Accrington 2 -- 0  Bolton  in some ( very ) minor competition

  { Scraped a dodgy home win there JR   laughing  }

Charlton 0 -- 1 Huddersfield  ( Well done Roger smile )

Nottingham Forest  1 -- 1 Middlesborough

{ and THAT should bring a warm glow to young Pauline's heart's cockles I hope }

But please note the word in Heavy type, Trellis,  Brian got it as wrong as you embarassed.  Saw the goals at lunch-time on BBC Red Button Sports loop. Think it was about  12 -- 4 by the time I finished my Fried Pigeon Butty wink

Now I'm wondering what We'll do to Sir Michael Parkinson's mob  surprised

Spot on Brian they only joined the club to be able to play in the greedy league and when we were relegated they didn't want to know.

One of them is wanted by Galatasary apparently,hopefully they'll pay us more than we spent on him but I'm not holding my breath. The others haven't exactly impressed so will probably go for pittance.

As for last night, the match wasn't a classic by all accounts but three points are precious, and the goal was a beauty and scored by one of our 18 year olds.

Off to Wigan on Saturday hopefully another three points 🤞

Back from the DW Stadium with a valuable point considering our keeper  gave the Latics an early Christmas present.

I have to give a big thumbs up to Wigan Athletic for the way they look after visiting supporters. We arrived early and were faced with the prospect of a longish wait for the turnstiles to open in freezing conditions with a nithering wind, but the club provided a spacious lounge with two bars, big round tables and a big screen showing the early kickoff match at Anfield.

We'd bought hot dogs and chips and were invited to take them in with us, one attendant had even brought a big container of salt if you needed it. This was seventh heaven for my GS who loves lots of salt on his chips. So well done Wigan.

We've got Forest next week and they got drubbed by the Massive yesterday with an ex player of ours getting a hat trick, so they'll be out for blood.
