Euro footballing competition

I understand that there is some sort of competition for footballists coming up soon.

I drew the team from Germany in our sweep at CAB. Do I have any chance of winning?

As I understand it, some people have to kick a ball into a net, or something, and the one who does it the most times wins the game.

Seems a bit pointless to me, but I thought I'd give it a go. Exciting these office draws, aren't they? Certainly more interesting than kicking a ball about.

Luck doesn't come into it K..... England were, from the beginning of this competition, riding on their bumped up egos, praised by both the press and an out of touch manager, well they have got their come uppance,  been brought back down to earth and landed on their expensive derriers. One can only hope that lessons can be learnt and acted on... They are the  joke of the yearYell

Konte.....Wink

For me it has to be a Englishman, done the foreight manages, apparently Gareth Southgate is the bookies favourite to take over, with Gary Neville and Alan Pardew both at 10/1, not sure on any of these three though.

I would love to see an English manager of England SELL, but unfortunately I dont think that many have the talent for the job. Thanks to the premier leagues' obsession with foreign managers, talented English managers are thin on the ground, and I wouldn't call Southgate, Neville or Pardew talented, what have they achieved in their footballing managerial roles? Sorry, but any of these would be a backward  step in my opinion....Cool

Its not skill thats needed,(that should be naturally there if you are the best in the country) but team spirit and doggedness.Wales & Iceland have it in plenty, but England dont. They can  only play the way they are instructed, just like rbots and when the s...t hits the fan dont know what to do.
