Euro footballing competition

I understand that there is some sort of competition for footballists coming up soon.

I drew the team from Germany in our sweep at CAB. Do I have any chance of winning?

As I understand it, some people have to kick a ball into a net, or something, and the one who does it the most times wins the game.

Seems a bit pointless to me, but I thought I'd give it a go. Exciting these office draws, aren't they? Certainly more interesting than kicking a ball about.

I think all this criticism is totally unfair. The team were honour bound to follow the instructions of the 53% of the English electorate who said we should get out !! Laughing. Use left and right arrows to navigate.Laughing. Use left and right arrows to navigate.

The thing I don't get is, as far as I'm aware (and you'll appreciate that I don't know a great deal about the football game) that Hodgson fellow wasn't even playing on the day!

How come he got the blame then? Surely it's the one's that were in the team, that didn't kick the ball into the opposite goal net enough times, who should get the blame?

How come they don't sack the captain, if he was in charge?

Have you not been watching the news, Ian. It's always the "manager" who stands down after a losing campaign - even if there's not the remotest chance of finding a competent replacement quickly! Wink

Can't believe just how bad England have played. Every single player has underperformed compared with their League form. Something seriously wrong with the set up. Hodgson had to go, and maybe a complete clear out of the so called coaching staff will follow.

Yes but everyone knows, Welsh lamb is the best. How nice to be the correct side of Offa's Dyke and watch the over inflated bubble that is the English football team burst so spectacularly.
