So, what do you make of the Australians who have blatantly cheated and admitted it?

Not  Out  !  Should  have  been  life  without  the  option  !!

But  there  again  I'm  Old  School  on  this  sort  of  thing.

I  hate  &  detest  Footy  common  taters  saying  stupid  things  such  as  "He  took  one  for  the  team"  as  if  deliberate  fouls  were  permitted  in  the  rule  book !  They  are  CHEATS    with  nothing  good  to  say  for  themselves  unless  it's  "  I'm  retiring"    and  the  same  should  apply  in  Cricket  &  all  other  games !!

What about the sheer stupidity of stuffing sandpaper down your trousers😭😱

My big bugbear is footy commentators saying so- and- so "won a penalty" Penalties are not there to be "won" they're in the gift of the referee for fouls in the area.

The one last night was nailed on but it took the VAR to spot it

Why not issue pre-tampered-with-balls to everyone?

But surely that would involve the Russians in Test Cricket?? winkundecided

Sob  I  sob  saw sob  on  sob  tv  sob  that  sob  the  sob  arch  sob  villain  sob  has  sob  given sob his  sob  first  sob  interview  sob.

Great  big  jessie,  did  those  nasty  cameramen  upset  diddums  then,  never  mind  he'll  have  plenty  of  time  to  go  and  feed  the    muggers  then.

Now  the  pressures  on  the  lads  back  in  Oz  the  coach  has  thrown  his  toys  out  &  is  packing  up  after  the  second  Test  Match.  Probably  realised  he  will  now  really  have  to  rush  to  get  his  version  in  print  first.

What is it about international cricket. When caught cheating the Big Girls Blouses get themselves filmed weeping their eyes out.   Man up,!! you were caught cheating-- live with it.

smile

The regret and sobbing merely reflects their sadness at all the income they're going to lose. Pathetic. I'm sick of seeing all manner of interviewees blubbing and sometimes apologising for being 'emotional' but no doubt it's considered good T.V. by some presenters and producers.

Most high-profile sports have been tainted (ruined even) by T.V. and sponsorship income.

On Radio 4 today an ex pro footballer from the 60's was saying that soccer used to be a sport played by a team of enthusiasts for the team, but nowadays some sports are regarded solely as a route to a celebrity lifestyle and an opportunity for personal wealth.

It's a job to know whether one is ever watching untainted sporting events.
