What I did in work today

I hope this does not upset anyone but thought as there was a post mainly for us retired people to discuss what we do at our leisure that there should also be a post for those still working to post. Just as some might be jealous of our freetime, some might be missing work cammeradery.

OH up at 5, I slept in till 6.30.

OH - Milking done. Cows out to grass. Now calf feeding etc.

Me - paperwork done for stock going to Auction this morning. Milk production figures analysed.

Onwards and upwards!

Think I might take up working again as the easier option. It's currently a case of 'do this or 'do that' or why haven't you..... At least at work I could go for a fag break, lunch break, elevenses  and get considerably more than HMG is paying me by way of pension. Also tend to get more peace & quiet that way.

Malcolm, if you must post about every single delivery you make, can you please keep them on this thread and not duplicate them on the "What I did today" thread.  It could be argued that you are monopolising threads which, as you know, is against our T&Cs.

Many Thanks.

Thankyou Jill, I think we should also all be wary of anyone who attempts to play others posters off one another. It's a sign that things "aren't quite right."

I have resigned ? and won't be returning after our NZ trip. Will probably look for something on our return in September either temp or seasonal possibly another office job. Well see what the situation is when the time comes.  Feeling liberated ?

How busy it will be also depends on how wet it is. Let's face it, when it's pouring with rain, would you want to go out for a meal or would you prefer to stay at home, look at the menu online, click on the items you want and have it delivered to your home?

No, I would prefer to cook 'proper' food and not live on Junk!  Smile

Big step, Bakers2 but does feel good, I left a job I didn't enjoy a couple if years ago,  felt great, now I have a part time job, with very flexible hours which is great, and suits me much better.

Not doing anything at work today ,as we don't open on Wednesday's Happy

Why not close on Mondays instead (as they seem to do in France) and then you can get away for a full two days. If you are unsure about your customers agreeing you could always have a referendum!
