Pouring down here.
Had planned to clean the seats in the car after washing floor mats and hoovering yesterday, in preparation for the drive to Landican cemetery on Tuesday to pay farewell to another of the matriarchs of the extended family. Want the car to be clean taking mum, the last surviving matriarch, with me.

Happy New Year to you all.
Very grey here little rain just odd drizzle. Walked the dog but didn't get damp, although wellies needed over the grassland. Not inspired to tackle anything 😕. Seem to have had a touch of the cold/flu since Boxing Day, but neither comes nor goes 😮.
Typing this on my Kindle Fire 😃 seem to be slow nor eating my words is it a fluke or fixed ? 😯
Hope you can get your car seats cleaned before Tuesday KeefySher. No one in our house is car proud and such events galvanise car cleaning. Sadly it usually funerals these days we're out if the loop for weddings and christenings at the moment 😉.

Thanks for your comments. We are in the cycle of funerals this past year or so. One of the signs of how people are living longer with octogenarians passing in our extended family. Most are ladies now as we had a spell of losing fathers in their 50's and 60's over the decades. As we are paying respects it's only right in my mind to turn up in a clean car where you can i.e. the interior as the exterior will doubtless be filthy from the journey up.

We were going to take the M/H out for the date to the coast ,but my wife isn't feeling too well ,so we just sat in it on the drive ,boiled the kettle and made a cup of tea and had a biscuit , and made a list of all the places we want to go too ,we need more paper

Well, listen up all you Southerners. The sun is on the way! We went out for a nice walk just after lunch and were very good in passing the pub without going in. (It was only because it was heaving). Still, felt very virtuous on the walk back home.
Looking forward to a year of UK touring this year. All I'm asking for is some decent health for one and all. Best wishes to everyone.

Going back a bit post wise loved The Lady in the Van. Saw it on the big screen in NZ in the summer on TV here and was given DVD for Christmas. I'm definitely southern 😀. I think Alan Bennett is like the late Victoria Wood, great at observing the human condition. Would write more but eating my words again 😬😬😬 so hope you got my drift.
