OMG.........scaffolders are here🥳 Had to provide masks (they need to go through garage) but ok with this. Just keeping an eye out, make sure they don’t drop anything on MH or MG😱

Frosty cold night again last night but a beautiful start to the day today so no complaints.

I've just finished the last of the paining smile now to start putting things back like curtains and blinds, after I've had a cuppa though.

Rest of house can now get a good dust and hoover as its really needing it now the decorating has finished for the time being.

ABM, good news on the covid vaccination smile

No😁 Just glad it’s now gone. They managed to leave a pole behind, but it might be ideal for a step banister at Mum’s in her garden.

We can get on with plenty of jobs now. Got a freezer to move, MH to sort out inside and out, logs to transport through to store, hole in garage roof to repair. And I can sort my garden a lot easier as well

Just checked our Bonds, £100, nice start to year🤩

OH is very disappointed as he wasnt given a badge when he had his covid jab like all those people that were interviewed on TV 😁

The Cathedral has decided today that there will be no communal worship until the situation improves. Online services only. Also it will only be open for private prayer for 2 hours a day 12.00 - 2.00 so I shall only go in once a fortnight. It is disappointing but understandable as they want to keep everyone as safe as possible while being accessible for those who need it. A very difficult balancing act.

I am a bit worried as after reading the criticism of Boris after he travelled 7 miles for a bike ride I checked on google maps to see how far we are from Ferry Meadows and it is 6.7 miles. We have tried to be good these last few months and in the main have only gone there for walks and not travelled more than 10 miles to go for a walk. We decided to go yesterday though and had a really good walk in a quieter area away from the main busy walks and felt so much better for getting out. I hope we can continue to do so.

Good news on the scaffolding front tda!!

Lots of good news stories today. Keeping away from the Covid threads. Too depressing sometimes.

Lovely day here, especially this morning. All of us got out for a decent walk. Sun was missing occasionally this afternoon and you could feel it.

Mrs WN just read out a story seen on the web. A couple in Canada have been fined nearly £900 for breaking a nightime curfew. Only excercise at night is for emergencies or dog walking. They were caught by police as the wife was walking her husband who was on a leash!😱😀

Hope none of the females on here are considering this.🤔

Managed out for a walk this afternoon in lovely sunshine, only trouble is my old problem (lower back) has returned frown haven't had any trouble from it since retiring almost 10 years ago. Must be all the up and down ladders and crawling round the floor doing skirting boards that's set it off. Time to take it easy for awhile and take the pills.laughing

We have just heard that our flights to Lanzarote in March are to be cancelled phew! quite pleased about that, as yesterday we moved our weeks at the timeshare to the end of the year.

Thankfully for once the gods are shining on us. It was a gamble moving the weeks before we heard about the cancellation of flights but we figured that if/when the flights are cancelled lots of folk will be looking at changing their weeks so availability will be low.smile

Will now need to sort out some campsites for March/April in the hope that we will be allowed out to play by then.

Not been up to much, but have managed to get out for a walk each day, but its getting difficult to find somewhere quieter,  our New local park between the two new housing estates gets very busy at weekends, and the canal towpath is too narrow for comfort!  so we have taken to walking the paths around the estate.

Had a chat with eldest son, they hope to get a completion date for New house soon. They are still allowed to move but we can't help them. frownBoth him and his girlfriend have now recovered from the virus, and back working from home.

Been quiet at work too, home early again today. smile
