We're off to to see Aladdin tonight, it's a birthday surprise for someone in the family, hoping they'll enjoy it as the alternative is oh no they won't. 

And from me as well Robsail, we had Dad in Hospital a few Xmases ago,  pleased your son is home.

Popped into town, met up with son and his girlfriend for coffee. Had another mooch around Millets for the closing down bargains, son bought a few OS maps which were heavily reduced.  Then off to the retaik park as OH treated himself to a new sound system which he is now assembling. Fingers crossed it works, and doesn't annoy the neighbours 

Thanks Helen, good luck with the sound system, we are still trying to work out bits of our new one! 

Mrs WN took her mother to a local garden centre that has a good craft section. She said that numerous people were overheard in ths cafe saying that they couldn't get into our shopping outlet at Broughton as it aas full and they were turning cars away. Apparently the local Asda was gridlocked. 

I'm going nowhere today. Enjoy the panto Brue.

We visited M&S in town this morning to collect an order. At just before 10 am the car parks weren't bad and free today.😀 Order counter was very efficient this year, however checkouts much worse, took about 30 minutes to get through them.☹️ Glad we went reasonably early, as we came home queues were building rapidly on the roads in.

Not a bad day here today so I went out and washed the car and the front of the caravan ready for the off on Thursday. We are out tonight at a relatives house as it is our annual family Christmas gathering.
