No not a Lunar, the dealer we used for our current van has dumped Lunar.  If we decide to change it will be for something with fixed bunk beds for the grandtwins

Our next door neighbours has just changed their caravan for the same reason as they have a two year old Grand Daughter that goes away in the van with them. I was talking to the grand daughter yesterday who was walking by with her gran as I was washing the motorhome. The grand daughter proudly told me that "her" caravan had bunk bedssmile

Met up with friends for coffee this morning, caught up with all the gossip.

OH not been feeling very well today, got home from work and he'd gone to bed early. frown

Good luck with the new caravan hunting Oneputt.

Hope you have a lovely break HD, and hope it's good news from the consultant David.

Hope that your consultant and the insurers give you the go ahead to drive soon David.

Have a good trip to the New Forest, HD

Get well soon, TG, these colds seem to hang on for ages, don't they?

Best of luck finding your new van OP. I keep looking but cannot find one that would suit us better than the one we have at present. The best layout I spotted in a Clubman ES, but after all the reports about Lunars I'll certainly give them a miss.

Took down my porch canopy yesterday. It had finally become past repair. Hasn't done too badly though as I built it about twelve years ago. They are coming to fit a new GRP one this afternoon although that only has a ten year guarantee. Should see me out though.

Woken up with sore throat runny nose and ache all over - thanks Tammygirl 😂. Was to take mum to a couple of appointments this morning but don't want to pass it on, was going to phone my brother but OH said he'd cover, bless him.

Was OH birthday Monday,  my little firework! Booked a coach trip way back to see Tina at the Aldwych. Having grand-dog complicated it a bit but friend came in to do a relief visit between 8 and 9 pm as once the tickets arrived I learned the show was 2.45 hours 😲😲. Show was BRILLIANT very powerful voices physically lead had Tina off very well. Great atmosphere and dancing and singing at the end. So glad we'd organised friends visit for grand-dog gridlock traffic everywhere, an hour to reach Fenchurch street 😲😲. Finally walked in the front door 0045 having gone out at 1545. Felt sorry for the driver and those going on down to Clacton on Sea, a good 3/4 hour on from us.

On the plus side we went up the A13 bringing us into London passing the Tower of London, huge crowds, but we were high enough in the coach to catch glimpses of the lighted laterns in the moat. Didn't appear to be as impressive as the poppies, same artist, but saves a separate visit before 11th.

Enjoy your day folks.

Off to see Bohemiun Rhapsody again today with friends this time "have booked back row "double seatsinnocent"

Have recd e-mail from our local neighbourhood policing team with some interesting info

1 They have reduced anti social behavior in a black spot by 37% getting offenders to do litterand rubbish clearing in the area where all their "friends"could see themwink

2 They did a speed check in an area that had requested a lower speed limit,27% of those reported were locals and two were also from the campaign for a reductionundecided

That's really interesting JVB.  What a good idea to get the anti social offenders to do litter picking in their own area. Love that!  I bet there were some embarrassed faces amongst the locals caught in the speed check.laughing

I hope you feel betters soon Bakers2.  Glad you had such a good night out.
