Posted on 14/12/2016 14:53 by moulesymillie - I think I've found a foolproof way of doing it (well it worked for me).
I just right clicked on the photo, clicked on edit, then "resize" at the top of the page. Click on pixels and reduce - I had to do it be trial & error but reducing by about 50% seemed to work. If you then save the resize and right click, then go down to properties it'll tell you if you're under the 500 kb limit.
(There may well be an easier method though!)
Also, if you click on the photo of the dogs you can see a larger version!
Mmmm... I'm beginning to like this new version of the site!

I'm here!
Busy wrapping presents. I've been practising photos ad videos in the "how to . . " thread.
We haven't got our trees up yet. Planning to do those in the front bedrooms (four) tonight, then go for a real one for the hall tomorrow, then assemble the tall artificial one in the sitting room at the weekend.
Here's a photo (if it works) of the hall tree last year - before decoration.

Posted on 14/12/2016 15:29 by moulesyYes, now you see the whole photo in the new box when you click on the thumbnail. (That was 460 pixels wide)
Thanks for the tip Dave - no more dogs, folks, that's a promise (for now!)
