Have a great time Bakers. I'm very envious - NZ has been on our "to do" list since retirement. We keep looking at February trips, but then come back to who'll look after the dogs for a month while we're away? One of these days we'll get round to it no doubt! Happy

The trips are expensive. It is expensive to hire motorhome, see my posts on motorhome rent in new Zealand thread started today. Might be able to help out on dog sitting .  If you can stand the flight go for it, the fare's same for however long you stay!

Tricky please don't say that about the grass, I'm already looking at ours and think I can see it growing!!  Might be able to sell as hay on our return

Blimey, is it really July? Just back from a rather cold, wet walk at Llangollen, around Horseshoe Falls and back over Velvet Hill which involved several lifts to get the dogs over a number of stiles!

Nice pub lunch at the Telford Arms by the canal and met up with Jayess, fellow member of this parish.

Now back, dogs sound asleep - may well be following their example before long! Happy

Moulesy, I have now lost track of all the fellow CT-ers you have met, I think it must be a record! Hope you are enjoying your hols.Smile

We're off out early tonight to see a Midsummer Nights Dream performed by Illyria....I thought it was at Sherborne Castle but it's at the garden centre next door! Picnic and Prosecco packed, just hope the rain stays away.Happy

Have a great time in NZ Bakers2 can't believe its come round so quick.

July and its still cold and rotten weather, I think its rained every week since we got back from Spain last November. The heating hasn't been off (apart from when we were away) by 20.30 of an evening its so chilly it goes on for an hour just to keep the house aired, same again for an hour prior to getting up in the morning. Last summer wasn't good but this year has been worse.

Went to Dundee today to collect our new tumbler, ours was one of those that had a recall or fix on it. We decided to have the new tumbler for £19 since it was years old anyway.

Called in to our local dealership to have a look see (you have to) saw a nice PVC so got us thinking, oh dear! never bothered with PVC before but we both liked this one.

Brue - the odd thing is that we've only met a couple of them actually on CC sites! I have one of those stickers that Jill designed which I put in our window but rarely does anyone mention it. Of course, it could be that they're all just avoiding me! Laughing ( I think the dogs are the main attraction anyway!)

Have a great time tonight, hope the weathers behaves for you. (Don't suppose you're interested in a quiz night on Nov 11th are you? Just saying ...... )

Thanks Tammygirl, yes its come round quick even to us. Sign of ageing?! Which PVC van? Keep toying with the idea as we've hired a couple in NZ, have to say weather us better there but we have had a layout we quite like, big compromise is facilities but doable if you have too.  Nothing wrong with ours but you have to keep an open mind .

Cases packed all went in and under the limit .

Raining steadily again here and warm so still watching the grass grow by the minute. Oh well who cares?

Went to Worthing this morning......felt like 'coming home' seeing all those familiar names - Fiordelatte, KFC, MacDonalds....didn't spot Burger Mee though. Laughing

Went to Shoreham Airport (now known as  Brighton City Airport) in the afternoon for the delightful Art Deco terminal building and lovely cafe / restaurant.

Write your comments here...If you walk through the Royal Arcade from the sea front, Ian, you will find Burger Mee on your left. It's not far from Harry Ramsden which is at the sea front end of the Royal Arcade.

Anyhow, I'm glad you managed a visit to Worthing. At least the weather was ok this morning.
