Bakers, yours was a very pertinent post.
This morning, whilst out and about, I was thinking about a friend who has Dystonia and how she is coping but suffering and I was thinking about my brother who goes into hospital today to try to find out whats wrong with him and I was thinking how lucky I was. Oh sure I have my own problems but there are many people out there in a far worse condition and to anyone who is in a bad way or who has loved ones who are ill I would like to wish you well and hope it helps a little knowing you are not alone and that there are people thinking of you, even if we can't do anything practical. Good luck.
Thank you, I don't know what to say wherenext about your brother, sometimes a label helps, but sometimes its not what you want to know. The young girl/lady was 13 and it took a year for diagnosis and then little or no help or research into the condition. I do feel for him and you, in my thoughts and prayers. Coming close to losing my hubby when he was 43 with two young children I try not to take life for granted. Although sometimes it is very easy to get complacent.

Oh goodness Bakers, that must have been a very frightening and anxious time for you. So glad it turned out well for you all. Grab life and make the most of every minute. Have a really wonderful time in NZ with your 2 little grand-daughters and look forward
to retirement when you get back.

, A bit of ongoing maintenance today ,plus STILL trying to get a 'Stuart Turner' engine timing correct !!
Is that one of the original two-stroke ones or the diesels that they produced under licence? I had one of the 10HP twin two strokes. Great engine - good agricultural simplicity if a bit thirsty.

Had a wonderful time last night at the concert, he certainly puts on a good show. We didn't get back home until 00.30 but well worth the drive, it was lovely weather in Aberdeen when we arrived and left, but it had obviously rained a lot around Angus and
Tayside, as we drove through some quiet bad banks of Scotch Mist This morning is going to be a lazy one I think, not sure what the weather is
going to do yet so don't know what we are going to get up to today.
