TinWheeler,

Further  to  our  comments  elsewhere  about  localised  weather,  it's  just  been  reported  on  BBC local  TV News  in  the  North  West  that  flooding  is  possible  in  any  parts  of  the  River  Weaver  Catchment  area,  inc  Crewe,  Nantwich,  Frodsham  etc  etc.  and  apparently  some  shops  in  the  Cheshiire  Oaks  Retail  area  have  had  roofs  collapse  under  weight  of  water  !!

Think  Its  agonna  be  waders  &  wellies  with  the  old  knitted  swimming  cozzy  tonight  !Surprised

Frightening  thought  but  a  worse sight  !!

Well I only popped out for a couple hours part two had pages to read and was closed this one had four pages ?.  My Dyson is now scrubbed within an inch if its life, it wasn't wrinkly .  Cleaned the bathroom so all shipshape again.

Oneputt please do keep posting, its nice to know what others are doing, I'm scared others maybe having a more exciting time then me.

Very heavy downpours all afternoon I was 10 miles away there too, but OH says been a terrific thunderstorm here.  Grass is positively shooting up but no chance of cutting at present.  Think well leave it and make hay

Feeling a bit low at the moment.  The lovely young woman who has been coming to the house to do our hair for over 20 years and just been this afternoon and told me that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer - she starts her chemo tomorrow.  Life can be so unfair sometimes.

Devastating news for anyone whether it is for yourself, someone you love our someone you know.  Thoughts are with her.

Write your comments here...

Thank you Bakers. Just wish we could do more to help but gave her a hug and told her that we are here for her anytime.

At the end of the day that's about all you can offer.  Life is unfair and fleeting.  Make every day count.

Write your comments here...I can well understand that it can make you feel down, Milliehull. It's a natural reaction to something that you feel powerless to do anything about.

Goodness! That's bad. We've even got a little bit of blue sky showing now. Keep safe.

Write your comments here...I agree, Bakers2. Best to just take one day at the time and live each day to the full. The future is in the hands of fate. It's like that song I remember from my childhood. Kay sera sera, whatever will be, will be, the future's not ours to see.....

I'm with Oneputt and will not be posting on this thread for the forseeable future unless it significantly changes. Fed up with reading about fast food delivery and a certain member hogging this thread.
