Did voting by proxy Smile went to village at Crich today, OH enjoyed himself with all the old tramsWink I enjoyed the rum and raisin ice cream with a nice chocolate flakeLaughing Weather behaved a bit close but not too bad. Off up to Penistone tomorrow to see number 2 son and family, staying on a nice CL.

Welcime back to uk thanks for bringing your weather .  More heavy showers with thunder and lightening, we've already had June's rain in one night and that doesn't count what came before or us coming now!!!! Were OK, touch wood, but ditches and drains full wish u had more water butts!

Crich is great isn't it? We want with friends a couple of years back.  Nice enough for ice creams so jealous.

Enjoy your family time, will you have longer with this son?

Not sure I envy your return home - plenty of sorting out to do ?.  Just a couple of weeks til we go was hoping we'd be getting drier so garden slows up.

...Sorry about the weather, can't belive its still so bad nearly halfway through the year. Glad to hear your ok. We've got the weekend with youngest son, then home Monday or Tuesday. Not looking forward to the state the garden will be in or the amount of mail we will have to go through but hey its worth itWink

You booked a H/S? Is that one of the long-term experimental sites?

Ahhhh yes, M&S......the basic food-stuff of most of our caravan trips Laughing

.Think we will come back to this area to spend more time, there are still lots of things to do. Wouldn't mind living in this area.

Fine warm sunny day, with a gentle breeze, here at home. Didn't bother going to the polls as we cancel eachother out!!

Completed the clearing out of the unwanted stuff from the garage with two trips to the recycling centre. Then finished off by hoovering out the car. All ready for the off and the 2 week wait is going to be hard!!

The oh check up at the eye cancer clinic went well the procedure has started to do what was expected, some stitches are still to dissolve, but so far so good!

Just goes to prove that opticians are not just for goasses! Eye health isimportantly  checked by them if she had put off the opticians appointment........

Glad everything seems to be going well. Let's hope that the improvement continues.

OH was out last night doing some river bank clearing and thought he'd been bitten by horse flies on his hand. It now looks like a grass snake bite and is swollen. He assures me it wasn't an adder. He was more excited about seeing two Peregrines Falcons working together!

Yes, Malvern is one of the trial sites.  I reckon about 98% of the hardstandings are occupied, but plenty of empty grass pitches.

I expect it will fill up even more tomorrow, we are here till Sunday.

Hope your OH's hand recovers soon.  I can totally see why he excited about watching peregrines working together, saw that a few years ago on Durlston cliffs, so had the above and below views, magic, but poor pigeon didn't agree .
