I do not think there has been one comment on here that has said NOT to buy an EV ,there have been quite a few questioning what seems to be the attitude that when owning an EV, every one else except the owner should pay in some way or other for the fuel to keep them going,
There has also been some advise as to the logic of why some would purchase an EV

So Malcolm, you are proposing to charge your business vehicle on club sites? Sixteen hours plus of business use charged to the club or a CL owner?
You are proposing to charge up at Gatwick later in the year and drive to work on the charge.

That's the beauty of them! You don't need to buy fuel anymore. They have a battery that provides the power that just needs charging every so often which can be done with no more power than any other domestic appliance. In such circumstances it would be as illogical to ask for extra money for this any more than it would be to ask for extra money everytime you put the kettle on electric!

That what you say but every one else in some way is paying for your fuel (electricity)and it no use keep trotting out about kettles as a kettle is a domestic appliance that uses as part of your pitch fee 3Kw for about 3 mins not 3Kw for hours on end, as well as other equipment that in your strange world can be utilised at other times

Malcolm, I have just completed a little pointless exercise. We also have a seasonal booked for part of this year. I calculated the nightly fee if we stopped in the van every night we are allowed and it comes out £5 per night. We, as is most often the case, will not utilise it 100%, or be charging an EV.
How long do you think before the CC realise they are actually paying you to stay on site.🤔
