Can't you pay them by bank transfer? You would not have to locate the owner then, you could just transfer the appropriate amount every week. It might seem silly, as I use all other types of computer banking, but don't like ATM's.

He comes every week to collect but often at different times or days depending on the weather. I get some cash everyday from work because they pay the 80 pence drop rate in cash, so I use this to pay but still need to supplement it by cash withdrawals from the ATM.

Out of interest Malcolm do you have company on the site at anytime? If you don't it would be pointless not to have rowdy parties. We on CT are all waiting for an invite 😉

Redface,

The  only  one  laughing  at  the  Tesco Extra  in  Crewe  is  the  plonker  who  had  the  A T Ms  installed  in  the  darkest  part  of  the  ground floor covered car park  --  not  a  place  I'd  fancy  getting  a  few  quid  on  any  late  night  outing  !

I thought it was a pre-requisite that all ATMs found outside supermarkets would be facing straight into the direction that any sun would be coming from so that you couldn't see a blessed thing when trying to read the screen. It always seems that way to me.

Yes, Bakers2. There are four other caravans here. Five altogether including ours but ours is the only one with an awning.

Good morning, campers! Wakey, wakey, rise and shine! It's time for you to start posting to let us know what you're up to this morning! It's 9 a.m. and no-one else has posted anything on here yet today!

This thread definitely seems to have gone into hibernation. It's 13:30 but no posts today yet!

It's pretty pointless my posting - as we do very little caravanning (not entirely by choice) and there's no point in posting just for the sake of it, and boring the pants off people with an inane litany of dreary day to day stuff.

Off to read a good book!

This was never actually a daily diary thread was it?! We don't need waking up in the morning unless it's really really interesting and worth waking up for.....laughingwink

If you find yourself here and no-one is posting look elsewhere on CT..wink

Well, just for a few minutes, ...feet up...and a cup of tea. Decided to battle with town before the schools finish for the hols. Couldn't get out this morning, one hail storm too many. smile
