The Pointless Page

Thankyou Dave. I won't be commenting on anyone who attempts to disrupt what is actually a positive thread which was started to offer an alternative area for more social communication. People have a choice and I hope they enjoy both.

That takes me back a few years! The number of times I'd have children of, let's say, a reluctant disposition, turning up to lessons with nothing to write with - I'd just get a blunt pencil out of my desk drawer and say "I'd lend you this but I don't suppose there's any point"!  How they'd laugh (well the first couple of times they heard it anyway!). But amazing how often they'd then settle down to work.

I always found humour went a long way in the class room!

At last I no longer having to beat myself up believing I'm the only one dithering about all day doing nothing, or failing to invent perpetual motion, resolve the NHS crisis, stop the dishwasher squeaking, grease the corner steadies, or solve Fermat's Last Theorem.
