The Pointless Page

Well, I for one, made a New Year's resolution NOT to follow, add, comment, rise to the bait, etc. any of the threads relating to EV's / Club charging points / salaries / work / credit cards / fast food deliveries etc.

Mind you, if you took all those topics away, there wouldn't be much left! surprised

Pointless, as that didn't last long. Obviously no staying power! undecided

I did try to change the subject earlier but broke my own rule, which I will now stick to. smile

Perhaps the pointless thing is that people tend to over engage on certain subjects and their posters. Whilst no rules are being broken all I can say is the solution is in your own hands?

You are exactly right, we do have the right to post as long as the posts comply with the clubs T&C’s.  However 3 threads of one individuals dogma is no joke🚗😑👀🤑

I did comment regarding this  few pages back and was fold he had the rights to post wherever like everyone else.

That if there is not a queue waiting to use their "free"fast chargewink

Posted on 01/01/2018 15:49

I did not see any queue there last time I went to have the existing Smart car serviced in December. Everytime I have visited, the charging point was unused.

Are you that naïve?

What will you do if they say no, or charge you extra to charge the EV

Posted on 01/01/2018 15:50

I'll move the caravan to another site that says yes. It's called consumer choice!

Apologies for returning again to MM's mathematics but I need to see if anyone can find fault with my own calculations;

MM has previously stated on one of the 3 threads currently on the go:

1) Pizza delivery income less than state pension. Malcs state pension is probably £122/wk = £528/month

2) Old Smart leasing at £221/ month, fuel £225 /month = total £436/ month

Difference between the two  = £92/month

If you then take into account  the following:

deposits/balloon payments/Business insurance/car services/tyres/ repairs etc etc then delivering pizzas definitely falls into the category of pointless
