Posted on 23/02/2017 22:55 by redfaceFurther reports seem to suggest that a woman lost her life when she was struck by a chair coming off a roof garden, near Costa and M&S in the midlands somewhere.
If you have adequate warning of such events as Doris, do you not secure all outside tables and chairs?

We were there in our van on Thursday. Bit windy but did not see any real damage. THe site was fairly sheltered. Yes windy (94mph)and very wet. Can recall worst conditions above Loch Tollie by Gairloch two years ago. Just been fishing and wilding on the exposed tops. That was scary.

Posted on 27/02/2017 22:07 by Bakers2Oh I missed hearing about a new named storm 😯. Stay safe David, is there somewhere you could take refuge? We had a very rough night our second night out I dragged hubby to toilet block 😉😉

Posted on 27/02/2017 22:43 by DSBNo doubt Carol will go to bed and I will stay up later on storm watch! I'm quite happy with that - I'm not good at sleeping generally!
