Yes, terrible, terrible news.

I too wonder about the mindset of the people who could do this.

As someone said about the recent killing of the policeman at the Houses of Parliament - they have the power to hurt us, but they will not defeat us. These people are not fit to breath the same air as the people they have killed and injured.

It is awful frown  Every time these attacks happen, my heart goes out to those affected.

This time, it has come rather closer to home, as my neighbour was at the concert with her 13 year old daughter.  They were fortunate to get out of there with no physical injuries.

Absolutely terrible. I cannot comprehend that there are such evil people in the world. I just don't understand. So many young people killed and injured. Awful. Before I started my shift as a volunteer welcomer at the Cathedral this morning there was a prayer service. It was very moving. So glad your son is OK Helen.

A truly barbaric and inhuman act. An attack on our kids! Congratulations to the Mods for allowing folk to express their opinions and sympathy on what is quite obviously a political point. Some things are just too big to censor!

Club moderator comment: This is truly terrible and our hearts go out to the victims and their friends and family. We are pleased that members can pay their respects and express their condolences on this discussion but ask that political comments are avoided. Many thanks.

Very tragic.  I live in Manchester and was away when this happened.  What makes it worse is that it was going to happen at some time, but not sure where in this country.
