My thoughts are with the people who have lost, or who are searching, for their loved ones - some of the dead and injured were children.  This was a concert for chldren and teens. Tragic.

I will not say too much Val lest it becomes political. It is indeed very sad.

Just been reading news article, really awful, cry my son texted me to say he is okay, his office is next door to the arena, infact he could see the foyer from his desk. His office building  has suffered some damage, it happened at night so they weren't at work. Lots of children were at the concert, he said he saw them queueing to get in when he left work yesterday.  So sad, my  thoughts are with the families this morning.

Terrible news, it flashed up on my pad when I connected it this morning. It makes the folk who were protesting about being searched when we went in the exhibition at the American Cemetery, seem even more out of touch with reality.

It is difficult to understand the mind set of an individual who can cause such injury and death indiscriminately amongst innocents no matter what their misguided 'cause'.

I saw some of the Twitter feeds from frantic families trying to contact their Children, it was heartbreaking. I didn't get too far down before I had to leave it. The knock on effect of the losses will touch many.

As a father I am reading with tears in my eyes about how two sets of parents are still searching for their children. I cannot come close to imagine how they must be feeling and what they are going through My thoughts and prayers are with them all.

Like others I cannot begin to comprehend how anyone thinks their creed or politics allows them to commit such acts.

Quite  agree  SteveL  --  it  is  so  very  sad  that  people  have   to  kill  randomly  in  order  to  attempt  to   "force"  us  to  accept  their  unacceptable  views.  But  we  must  never  accept  any  limitations  on  our  own  actions  tho'  must  we.

So  very  very sad !

It is just dreadful!  I just hope that this sick element in our society can be eradicated as soon as possible!  My sympathy goes out to all the families who have been directly involved in this tragedy.
