Well done Hull, it's already on my list of to visit, you're up there with some good cities, sadly I've not visited any of them.  So it looks like I'll be adding to my travel list.

Anyone visited all of them?

We have many happy memories and friends from our 10 years living in Hull when we were first married. A much under-rated city and with some fabulous recent improvements. Can't wait to visit again. Happy. Use left and right arrows to navigate.

I had the same ignorant misconception of Liverpool as some folk have of Hull, then I visited Liverpool & realised I had been stupid & based all my preconceived notions from ideas formed decades earlier. The Hull of 20-30yrs ago is not the same Kingston-upon-Hull of today & it will be different again by 2017. I live 12miles from Hull & everytime I visit I see it has changed, changes for the better. The only way to have a true opinion of anywhere is to visit that place-then you will no longer be ignorant as I wasHappy

We caravan with friends, we tryto have a theme for our year. Two years ago we did"Places of our birth" . As I am born and bred Hull we spent a week there. It was great and they want to return despite Telford, Bournmouth, Weymouth and London all on the list of birth places visited.

as they say, "It's never dull in Ull."

It leaves me wondering what the criteria was in making this list.  I have been lucky enough to have visited many of them and find myself wondering what I missed for them to have beaten Paris, London, Kyoto, Barcelona, Shanghai, St Petersburg and indeed many others.

As I said what on earth was the crieria for selecting those?
