Best wishes to Hull for the coming year. As many know, Hull, and many other Humber towns, have played a large part in the development of our hobby and the caravans and motorhomes we use. I wonder if Hull is going to celebrate this aspect of its 'culture'? Are folk going to visit the many events planned for the year? cool

Went to see the light and sound show last night, projected onto the city hall and other buildings, fantastic show. Walked the show trail through the various streets with thousands of others, live window displays and even a section built caravan in one with two lovely ladies having a tipple and playing cards.

Finished off with a meal, it was a good start to the year and the city with everyone from 5 to 70 enjoying themselves.

Happy Hour, Caravan of Love, Perfect 10, Song for Whoever, ..... the list goes on and on. Great performers live in whatever guise I've seen them. Paul Heaton is certainly one of the most inventive British songwriters of recent years. Must go and put one of those albums on now (risk Mrs M's wrath!)
