Brilliant.  Summer is here and its lovely and warm, and sat in the garden for the first time in nearly 5 years because we had horrible neighbours (actually they were neighbours from hell) who bred very large dogs, and the smell from them was awful as they lived in kennels outside.  Now they've gone.  Today, we're sat outside and enjoying the sun apart from someone's noisy radio from three streets away - why do people think that everyone has to listen to their music.  Can't wait to get back in the caravan on a site where its peaceful

Actually I was thinking just yesterday, while sitting in our garden, that I was glad that I was at home because it was so peaceful. We have two children living next door but they are not over noisy so I suppose we are very lucky. All I could hear was bird song. Often when we are on cc sites it can be rather noisy. Last time we were away we had a yapping dog one side and a chap the other side who spent the whole time outside, speaking extremely loudly on his mobile phone, I think he was setting up jobs for when he got home.

Thats why we love CL's --- peaceful and friendly. You rarely get the kind of annoyances that people on here talk about happening on sites.

We too have thoroughly enjoyed the recent beautiful weather.  Been enjoying it in our garden, we had neighbours from hell some years ago but a concerted effort from all our neighbours got it sort with noise control people. Most stressful whilst it lasted. We have neighbours all around us but all are considerate, thankfully. Sat in the garden today we had robins and blackbirds singing their hearts out, starlings and sparrows and blue tits on our feeders. Blue, yellow and orange tip butterflies ?. Children playing about but not intrusive. Just watched the Country file weather forecast cold air coming down from the north at the end of the week . Hope that doesn't mean that was summer

It's good that the summer weather has finally arrived and that people are finally able to sit out and enjoy either their own garden or being out and about in their vans.

Been glorious here today.

No doubt about it, the garden was great today, sun, shade, reading my book, glass of cold juice, children happily playing way off in the distance and the sound of springtime birdsong.

Can't beat it!
