Can't come soon enough Jill, it's also the beginning of a third walk for our dog Happy During the dark winter months she gets taken early morning and mid afternoon but soon will include an evening walk, more exercise for us also.

just to be precise, BST starts at 1am, so set your alarm for then to get up and move the clocks forward to 2am then go back to bed.

They go back on October 30th at 2am BTW - date for your diary.

Thanks for the reminder Jill - it has crept up on us!  Still longer days are here again - thank goodness.

I do wish they would experiment with making British winter time, or what ever it is called shorter!!! I would have thought that mid November to mid February would be long enough?

As CY hinted  - clocks 'Spring' forward, but 'Fall' back.

The easiest way to remember which way they go.

Computers/phones/tablets... may update themselves automatically but some electronic devices may not ie cameras.

The one I often forget is the heating timers.

You mean Greenwich Mean Time .... the time zone about which the rest of the World references their own time zones!
