What a strange notion - I have a loo with a view over the Lincolnshire Wolds - but not of the contents!

Bet they're better than the communal squat toilets they had when we were there though . Even the ladies loos at the airport!

But catch on elsewhere.....only hope not!

Funnily enough squatting is usually an aid to evacuating the bowel efficiently. So they, and the French, are not too wrong with their hole in the floor!

Write your comments here...think I best make myself clear Laughingthe photos are of a young lad sat on the loo but that looks like a normal china toilet.  It's the cubicle that is all glass floor ceiling and all side walls Laughing so while your sat or standing you have a view of your surroundings, it could only be the Chinese who could come up with something like this , and yes you are in full view of those outside Surprised

Years ago my better half paid a visit to a cafe toilet in Arles,South of France. I paid the bill and wandered outside to wait and looked around to see my wife's head through a hole in the wall. I asked her if she was enjoying herself and she replied that the fresh air was a bonus but hoped that these toilets wouldn't catch on. Thankfully they don't seem to have but the French definitely have a "Laissez-Faire" attitude to toilet etiquette.

We came back on a ferry from Caen years ago. We found a public toilet in the middle of a busy roundabout and I was a little surprised to find that the external walls were all glass.

Still, needs must........any port in a storm etc.
