Blimey JVB - you must have a hot line to your cabinet member MP. It takes me weeks to get any sort of acknowledgement from our MP and she's only a very junior minister.  surprised

Actually, I didn't realise we were ever exempt - it would have made our lives in the first lockdown a lot easier! frown

In the first lockdown I was stopped a couple of times on my way across town to do my Cinnamon Trust dog walking - the officers were happy when I showed them my ID badge on both occasions. But we did walk our own two separately, one of us in the morning the other in the afternoon.

So to be clear - is Mr Shapps saying we can both go out with them morning and afternoon?

Is there a plan to eventually vaccinate younger adults, and children?

As things stand at present, children will not be vaccinated.

Correct, as the vaccine Chas not been approved for young children, as a stated tonight during the PM's press conference.

Interesting, and surprisingly carefully worded for a politician! wink

I note it says "your dogs can be walked more than once a day" and not "you may walk your dogs more than once a day"!

Anyway, if stopped I'm going to claim the JVB defence. 👍

I think there are still a deal of folks returning home around the country after Christmas and the New Year to be honest🤨

There’s a comment, unsubstantiated, in the Guardian today, that indicates Cornwall’s only big hospital Treliske has something like 50% of the Covid cases in ICU occupied by persons whose first home is in London. Cornwall’s daily case rate increases are very bad at the moment.☹️

What lockdown?

Been shopping this morning and the traffic was as bad as I have ever seen on the A500.

I did wonder at one point whether there was a diversion off the M6 but the traffic in the opposite direction was just as heavy

My perception as well first thing this morning.
