Apparently this practise could change the way we buy fuel for our vehicles. I've never heard of it until today. Any thoughts?

Can't remember the last time I paid a cashier for fuel! No I am not guilty of bilking, I just prefer to use Pay at Pump. With the motorhome the easiest access pumps are usually the ones where you Pay at Pump.

Two arguments seem to have been put forward for not converting all pumps to pre-pay, one is that it would cost a lot of money to install them and secondly there would be no reason to visit the shop so sales would go down.

I had to look it up. Appears to be an historic word rather than some new fad. At first I thought this was a thread about cycling with a typo in the heading. embarassed

At first glance I thought it was some sort of Cockey Rhyming Slang- Acker Bilk.

Akers being a slang word for currency. On second thoughts............
