Personally,  I  reckon  all  adverts  containing  calories  etc  should  be  banned  along  with  the  one  for  tastelesssupermarket !

Jenny, Now you really are talking my language, Planet earth 11 must have some of the best photography ever shown on TV.

I must be getting behind. I've only seen a couple of episodes of Planet Earth 2, let alone series 3-10. Tongue Out

have not had the television on since the referendum so I am "missing" all these fine things!

Write your comments here...I have disposed of my T.Vs !! Can't be bothered with all that 'fiction' that is portrayed !!It's not real life as we know it,just programmes designed to keep you watching for the next episode.IMO.Undecided.

You won't have seen last nights episode of Planet Earth 11, then. A pity, with its exceptional photography and sound, not to mention its captivating interest. We're certainly looking forward to next weeks episode. I've picked up a few tips from Masterchef this week, too.

Write your comments here...As for "Planet Earth " ,my 'earth' World turned upside down upon the demise of my lovely Wife.I prefere to deal with the 'here & now' in my life.As for the exalted images & photography,I'm sure they could be appreciated by me as a Freelance Photographer too,as i produce work for magazines, tourist industry etc.BUT ,Undecided, each to their own !!

HappyIs it me, but many, many years ago, I would be watching a programme, and when the adverts came on I would just have enough time to brew a cuppa - and I would be dashing about to do it.  Nowadays, I have actually peeled and cut up spuds, put the veg in its pan, put the meat under the grill and put the kettle on as well, all in the time when the programme comes back on after its adverts

I see the advert for boots is contravening sex equally as it only gives a treat to women who work at Christmas.............

As much of our viewing has been recorded in our absence at the time of broadcast, then retrieved for our relatively short viewing time in the evening, we fast forward through adverts - which makes deferred viewing a pleasure and there's never a shortage of decent quality recordings to chose from.

I'm sorry to read about your wife, and I can well see that losing her will have turned your world upside down. A number of CT posters will have endured their own traumas too. But we all have one thing in common - it gets easier with the passage of time, as I'm sure that it will for you, however desolate you feel at first. I very much hope that you will find joy again soon, though maybe differently to before.
