Instead of God Save the Queen , it's being put to parliament today / tomorrow that the English sporting teams should have there own anthem for when they are competing  the nations ect  , Jerusalem appears to be the favourite

personally I don't see a problem Scotland Ireland and Wales have there's so why not England

Lots of athletes competing in there own individual / team all over the world , Welsh , Scottish , Irish , sing their own anthems across the world.  Only when teams are competing as Great Britain do they then sing the Natioal Anthem , so I think it's only fair the English have there's ,so how about.

Always look on the bright side of life

Why not a song with England or English in the title -----Like -----"In an English Country Garden".  nice gentle lyrics.

Used to be a favourite in our old Somerset Pubs and skittle teams!  Sadly I can assure you that if you heard me singing (Anything) you would wish to just curl up and hibernate!

Just Checked it on the Internet, - My memory very slightly awry, - The Actual title as sung by the Worsels was "Where be that Blackbird To?"  But we in South East Somerset certainly used "Be" and not "To"
