I Remember When

I remember the first pair of footy boots I had  ~~  the ones with the hard toe caps, as well as a strange piece of leather running across the bottom of the lace holes ~~ never did find out what that did  

I remember the abrasions across your legs that the leather studs with nails in on the boot's sole caused !! .

I remember the first time I bowled with a real, genuine Corky  

I remember when a pal of mine's Brother was fielding in the slips,and had his jaw smashed by a cricket ball .!! OUCH !! .

I remember the first pair of proper soccer Shin Pads I had --  rather less use than the old maths exercise books I used previously  

I remember the woodwork master confiscating a 'Crossbow' that i had made from an old Ash hoe handle .In the days before any commercial one's were available !! ,

I Remember The Woodwork Master  --  'nuff said  !!
