Remoska

In the "old" days

when I first joined the club the cooking accessory to have was a Remoska.

I'm now in the market for a mini oven and wondering what the "more modern" reputation of a Remoska is.

Up-dated  version  of  the  Remoska  is  still  out  there,  but  if  bought  from  Lakeland,  is  horrendously  expensive  now  and  the  original Lakeland "For  Life"  warranty  is  only  for  3 years.  Non-the-less  it's  reputation  is  undimmed especially  where  I  am  concerned.

If  you  really  want  a  mini-oven  check  thro'  the  "Scotts  of  Stow"  catalogue  and  if  you  are  satisfied  --  then  go  elsewhere  for  the  better  prices  !!

We have one of these it bakes, fries, is a slow cooker, rice cooker and much more. Will bake chicken portions or smallish meat joints for that Sunday dinner whilst out on tour. Had ours over ten years and still going strong. Keep thinking about this newer version but ours goes on and on! Very easy to clean too.

Thats  about  half  the  price  of  the  new  Remoska,  Micky  and  about 2/3  of  a  lot  of  the  Mini  Ovens  that  look  like  ovens  if  you  see  what  I  mean.  The  sort  that  have  an  'oven door'  and  one  or  two  solid 'leccy  rings  on  top,  all  from  the  good  old  3 pin  13amp plug  !!
