Remoska

In the "old" days

when I first joined the club the cooking accessory to have was a Remoska.

I'm now in the market for a mini oven and wondering what the "more modern" reputation of a Remoska is.

And  I  notice  that  the  latest  Remoska  has  had  a  'redesign'  so  that  the  window  on  top  is  back,  so  we  can  see  the  condition  of  the  goodies  without  letting  out  the  heat.  laughing

So what's been the outcome of your deliberations, OJ?

Firstly my apologies for the delay in replying, Mickey. A bereavement in Early December took my attention away.

I have bought a Remoska. I like the simplicity of it. I do not want to sit there reading a handbook every time that I go away laughing I liked also that it quite neatly holds my Trangia nesting pan set when In Transit.

I have been so impressed with it that I bought the Grande for home use.  I love the idea that oven can be taken to table and contents directly served to the plate. Once warm it cooks quickly. It sits inside a cupboard in my camper so neatly it was as though the two were made for each other.

Only Jen, we bought one after reading a thread on here and it made cooking the Christmas dinner in the caravan so easy. I put the turkey breast, stuffing and sausages in blankets in the Remoska and left it to it.   It gave us time to enjoy a glass of prosecco while it did all the work.😊
