Next Friday 2nd September at 9pm - I didn't catch the channel, but I think it might be Channel 5.

I wonder if it will be worth a watch......

Watched it for the first time tonight-great fun, full of folk enjoying themselves-now that's Caravanning. I may even try it for myself if I can guarantee them folks next to meCool

I am so glad we watched it on 5+1 as it meant we did not miss the sitcoms on bbc 1 and got to bed earlier,do not think we will watch any more, a bit of great viewing for the Knockers,

I didn't see any knockers. I would have paid more attention had I known.

We watched it last night in horrified fascination; we have never come across any caravanners like these... But how would we know? We don't spend much time observing the antics of our site neighbours.

One thing that did make me wonder... Is there really a caravanning hierarchy, based on expense of outfit? And weren't that poor pair in their Bailey Unicorn being a little deluded about their place in it? A mid-range caravan at best... Wink

MJ, yes there most certainly is, it's alive on CTSurprisedHappy. I've seen many threads that have been used as a vehicle for some folk to go into fine detail of-cost/appliances even payload has been used as a weapon. The sneerers are among usLaughingLaughing

I'm shocked. And appalled. And feeling bizarrely self satisfied in a misplaced glow of reverse snobbery. Wink

judgemental squad alive and kicking on every cc site, watch them all the time walking round the site scrutinising everybodys outfit, as for those misfits with the bailey (am i allowed to say that) on carry on caravaning, so maddening wouldnt you just love to bring them down a peg or two, certainly does not represent the type of campers i have met over the years amazing what you can do with cameras and a director, certainly puts caravaner of the year in a better light

Yeah, but it's scripted, or at least guided and edited, and let's face it, any ordinary caravaner sitting in the awning with a glass of wine watching the sun go down while prodding a burger on the bbq makes dull TV!

Oh good God!!

I've just watched episode 2 on catch up. I know this show is tounge in cheek, scripted etc. but I can honestly say that I have NEVER come across other caravanners who carry on like this, the antics of Sunbed Jonny & friends, the 'Bailey crew' and the narrator have left me cringing and angry. Thank god for the 2 Scottish ladies and couple with the vintage American caravan.

Ok, thats my rant over Yell
