Go ahead and check M, I did not expect to be believed.  Steamer from 01/07.  Things have changed a little but at least one w/e day is full.  

PS also have a look at the w/e's for August.

Interesting as I have just looked and A pitch with awning is free all August and if wanting any other type as posted numerous times "have you rung the site?"

Really weird.  I now have two windows open, one from about 40 mins ago and one recently refreshed.  The former shows the site to be fully booked on both types of pitches for at least one day every w/e July and August, the latter show mostly clear on awning pitches but the non awning pitches to be mostly booked at the w/e's.  So much for this wondrous booking system. 

As for ringing the site, well that used to work, but as you probably know wardens have been told not to retain any places.

"Wardens do not "retain"places but a pitch is quite often "available"for those other than as some think  "weekend blockers"

So are you suggesting wardens are controlling who gets pitches.
