Trying to book 2 weeks at a Club Site

Seriously, club sites are very popular and you may have left it too late for peak times on popular sites....

Are you trying to book for the main holiday season in popular areas? Perhaps looking a bit further away might help; alternatively, what about CL's?  There are so many of those in really nice locations.  They're often not booked up, we've found a few at short notice.

 Mmm......I'm going to assume this is a genuine request (you'll  have to forgive my cynicism, T,  but CT has had a number of first time posters starting controversial threads over the past 2 or 3 weekends). 

So when and where are you trying to book? Have you looked at the late availability page which is showing plenty of availability at a variety of sites over the next 3 weekends. Unless you're being very picky I doubt that there is absolutely nothing to choose from. Further ahead, let us know exactly what you're looking for - there are plenty of folk on here very knowledgeable about alternatives to club sites who would be more than willing to help out. 

If you are trying to book popular sites at peak time at relatively short notice I am surprised that if you have been caravanning for 30 years you have not come across similar problems. I take it that you are not knew to the club?

As Moulsey says if you give some detail  we may be able to suggest alternatives. Some sites are very popular and particularly at weekends and at this time of year.

Try a site other than a CAMC site. There are many out there, of equal or better quality than club sites, for the same, or less cost. 

its genuine.......ive looked suffolk, dorset, hampshire....for july or early august.

Ive actually booked France but Ive got to cancel due to illness in the family. I need to be in the UK just in case I have to go home at shprt notice.

I didnt kow there was a late availability page. I will take a look

you can search by dates and area/counties here and it will give you the sites that have pitches for those dates. Just tried it and White House beach sites has spaces July and August

I can suggest a very good CL and a small commercial site near Fordingbridge in the New Forest if that's of any interest. 

The late availability page only covers the next 3 weeks so may not be particularly useful for July/August.
