Misleading Pricing on booking system

The prices on the available dates are based on ONE adult (I have just found out) So when I go to make a booking, invariably the price increases.

1. Why advertise price from £23 for example? When I book it is £32 because we are 2 adults. Most campsites in Europe and the UK base their prices on a unit and 2 adults.

2. I would like to know what percentage of bookings made are for single individuals. Surely the majority of bookings are for 2 persons (or more)

Other way around at Clumber Park undecided

Presumably because Clumber is an all year site and they don’t use the grass in the depths of winter, when prices are at there lowest. Grass closes end of October.

One of the 'advantages' of the new system (and perhaps the only one I've found so far) is that one can easily see now when grass pitches are taken out for the winter.

when we were at Bunree, where, being in Scotland, it does rain a little 🙄 The gravel pitches just didn't drain, there were large puddle everywhere, both on the roads & the pitches

There are several hardstand pitches on the site we are on that have a notice that "this pitch is prone to flooding after heavy rainsurprised

In the middle of winter who wants to step out of the van ankle deep into muddy grass

I've seen many flooded hard standings on club sites, and if it's very wet I've got appropriate footwear.
