Sites with Fully Serviced Pitches - a Discussion

Sometime ago, someone on the forum, produced a list of the locations of sites with Fully Serviced Pitches. Fully serviced pitches are now pretty well essential to me, due to a back condition. I need to minimise any lifting.

I realise now I should have printed a copy of the post, but didn't, as I could always look it up. Try as I may now, I cannot find it. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi DSB,

New Cayton Village Club Site has the most I have ever seen on a site anywhere...must be approx 150 service pitches. Just spent a week there in the Laurels area..all pitches were serviced plus many more in other areas...total number of pitches is 294 although I understand there will be some work done around the 6m rule...

I did contact the club for a list of sites with serviced pitches a few months ago, but this proved to be difficult for them and the list I eventually received was not correct. The solution we need is to be able to include serviced pitches in the search criteria for booking, but I think that is at the bottom of a very long list of things to do. So I don't think we will see it for a long time if ever.

I am inclined to agree.  That's why I did a list, which you can see here: https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/club-together/discussions/sites-touring/uk-sites-touring/list-of-club-sites-with-full-serviced-pitches/

I also asked folk to keep me updated with any changes they spot, either by posting on here or by email.  I closely monitor this thread and others concerned with full serviced pitches so that we can keep the list as up to date as possible.

Hope this helps.

David

Due to health problems we always try to book serviced pitches. I know Burford has some but they seem to be full for most of October. So looking round I discovered that Cirencester Park one of our favourite sites  now has them. I seem to have missed reading about this in the magazine (if it was mentioned)

Hats off to the Caravan Club for once!

It's a pity that when Wharfedale was refurbished last year  none were  converted..

Hi LJF1.  Cirencester Park is on the list of sites with Serviced pitches here:

https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/club-together/discussions/sites-touring/uk-sites-touring/list-of-club-sites-with-full-serviced-pitches/

If you do find anymore not on my list, do post it up on this thread and I will amend the list.

Regards

David

If you look in the CL section, Mr H, you will find a "sticky" with a list of all the Cls that offer fully serviced pitches.
