Hartel waste bins

does anyone have the same problem as us regarding the door bin on the caravan door. We have now got through two of these bins do to the thin plastic circular clip at the top of the bin snapping. it appears to be a design fault as it is not robust enough. Has anyone had the same experience and can suggest a more robust door bin from some other manufacturer. At over £40 a time to replace the whole bin just to replace a the plastic part is eccessive.

I did not know the thing on the door of my Senator was a waste bin - I thought it was a newspaper rack it was so small! So it is "Somewhere in the Garage" and the door has a nice Simple Human domestic bin fitted in its place. Solid bin that drops in a steel frame with lid - a liner can be used as well.

I've encountered the same problem as Ocsid, the domestic "Brabantia" that I fitted, wedged itself into the frame of the fly screen door. Apart from the wind gust hazard, i've found that the bin works quite well and has a reasonable capacity.
