Anyone familiar with this campsite? They seem to have good facilities and the prices are not too bad but it is a large site and electricity is metered. Not opposed to metering just not used it in this Country, yet. Had thought about going back to Lady's Mile at Dawlish but they are very much more expensive for the second week of September.

Thanks

David

I assume your £15 is for a week?...say 50kwh? So that's 30p per kWh? That's a reasonable rate. How do you get any surplus back?

Haven't investigated that yet but will before I commit any money! I think people who have used the Club site with metering have mentioned there is a refund option. I don't think I will be taking any measures to "economise" as I want to see what real cost is. The site price, without electricity is quite reasonable and even with the electricity added it won't be outrageous. It will be interesting to see what the real time information is on the metering company website.
