Cancellation reasons

Just cancelled a club site for next week. Entirely due to the fuel situation but not a choice on reason given. Why not add Other and a box to write in?   Came back from holiday on Friday and have 150 miles in tank so unless I can refill this week I won't have enough.  I've seen in the news that nurses, doctors and teachers can't get to work this morning because of the panic buying , I don't want that on my conscience.

Hallo slightly off topic but I would like to ask if anyone living up North and in  Scotland are having the same fuel problems as we are in the South. I ask because we have booked a  3 week trip up to Highlands and Outer Hebrides in our diesel campervan starting tomorrow,  all packed, everything booked including ferries. We filled up 2 weeks ago in readiness  so will be able to make it to Carlisle, before refilling,  onwards to Fort William, Skye, Islands, Dunnet Bay, Culloden etc,    Hondaman himself is confident  all will be well fuelwise, but just thought I would seek advice from those in the know and helpful with it !  Many thanks, Mrs HM.

We've just completed 3 week tour of Dumfries and Galloway. Topped up at Castle Douglas but only allowed 15 litres. Stopped again on M6 services: no queus, but diesel £1.69/l, not the £1.39/l displayed on the big sign! £40 maximum. On Kendal CCC site which is still nearly fully booked.

OH has just been out around us. Topped up with no issues and no queuing. That’s diesel, at the usual price.

Thats ok if you have access to that tarif  and you can park close enough to your property to take advantage of it

there are millions of properties that will not be able to have home chargers

At a service station on the southern arc of the M25 some idiots were even queuing on the motorway itself!

Beggars belief!

£1.69p.l. crikes I thought yesterdays price of £1.449 bad enough! According to the news the latest rise in oil prices has yet to hit the retail market.

Never take much notice of garage fuel prices PD, I had supposed a few weeks go hat there had been a drop in fuel prices at our local ASDA as there seemed more getting fuel than normal. I have no idea otherwise

Luckily Nellie, loads of service stations close by where you are. Morrisons, Tesco and Sainsbury’s all on outskirts of Penzance.👍

As it happens we filled up at Morrisons in Redruth/Camborne this morning. Just drove up straight to a pump. Thanks SB and tda. It was at £1:37.9 pl

Also, 1.36 at our local Tesco today. I needed fuel Tuesday though and had to pay 1.47 at the BP garage nearby. BP now in my little book.
