How about Croatia as an end point and take in Germany , Austria and Slovenia getting there. I am biased though as I cant wait to get back later in the year but for the moment Spain is pretty good too.

Had considered that AD (Croatia I mean) but we have only 35 days (insurance, blast!). 

Kind of like to keep Spain for Winter now (in the fervent hope we will get there in January 23).

So, 35 days??? Do-able? Time to meander there, or back; time to explore a bit; time to relax a bit???? (Don't mind doing the outward or homeward "dash".)

Remember Croatia isnt in Schengen  yet so time there wont eat into your 90 days.
