Which filters need changing for cls

In my opinion some of the search are confusing and a total waste of time.

I'm sure most would agree that the a typical CL can be assumed to provide a welcome to adults/children and dogs so filters should be used when this assumption is incorrect;

Adults Only    Children, for whatever reason are not allowed - no problem with this filter.

Children welcome   What on earth does this mean? - are they especially welcome?  If this is not highlighted do you get no suggestions, or those who don't like children but will put up with them. Removal of this filter would make more sense.

Dogs welcome  Again this makes no sense as I'm sure failure to highlight this in your search would make no difference. Much better to change this filter to No Dogs.

Coarse Fishing within 5 miles     Would this not apply to the vast majority of sites as fishing can be found in canals/rivers/streams/ponds etc. It may be more beneficial if the distance was reduced to say 2 miles

It would be nice to know.

If people aren't told, how can they be expected not to repeat the 'crime'? frown

Perhaps one days training in the office was not enough to allow the wielding of the heavy hammer undecided

It seems that something "strange" is happening on CT and I'm going to give it a miss till we have an explanation from the Community Manager.

Sometimes it shows 'Content removed' when it's the OP who has removed their own (duplicated?) post rather than censorship by EG.

I agree with your suggestions Ovaltineys. The 'Dogs/Children Welcome' (Adults only' is fine) and 'Fishing within 5 miles' (Really?)options are marketing/promotional features and only add ambiguity when searching.
