OS map Grid Refs gone!!

Is there a good reason why the new Club Sites Directory is not showing OS Grid Refs?

Surely I can't be the only member who still likes to see exactly where I will be towing to?

Google Maps sometimes does not show the CL / field clearly. A pinpoint location with the OS map sorts that out. Or rather, it did.

A black mark for the CL dept at the Club. Could do better.

David is there not a very good case to make Metheven's very useful work into a "sticky" here?

Plus the Club takes it on board and makes it readily accessible to view and download from the CL section of the website.

Have just received from HO the list I requested of all CC sites & CLs with their OS Map References, and a very nice letter from Kate Walters, Site Directory & Handbook Editor, who has said that she will "monitor the amount of members who are unhappy with the removal of the OS map references and if it does inconvenience a significant number of members will certainly look to add them back in the next addition of the SD".

So you all know what to do...let her know of the inconvenience to you...and hopefully she will put them back in the future.

Presumably they are wrong on the web site as well. Unfortunately inaccuracies seem to be fairly common. Number / type of pitches, site maps etc. I would not mind so much, we all make mistakes, but they often remain uncorrected, even when pointed out.
