Hallsdown Farm is definitely worth visiting, everything a CL should be.

Would love to visit there but they don't allow dogs.....which will, of course, appeal to others no doubt.

We have used Hallsdown Farm a couple of times and found the location and facilities very good.

Moonstone, if you find a place stay try a visit to NT Arlington Court, it's a lovely old place with a very good carriage museum.

Stayed here a few months ago. Seek out the cl and read my site report.

Although not Woolacombe the location is good being central for Exemoor and the coastal are. I'm not sure I would like to ride a bike along some of the narrow lanes though.

Thanks all - much appreciated.   I'd already seen The Barton and it looks nice, so a consideration.   Might do a bit more research before booking.  

Any more suggestions still welcome. 

We have been to Hallsdown Farm and say it is among the best CL sites we have enjoyed.  However, it is remote and the roads are not easy.  That is the reality of North Devon.

In June I would stop at http://www.woolacombe-sands.co.uk/  closest caravan park to Woolacombe, better value than club sites out of high season and great views, a ten min stroll along the footpath down to the beach. 

High season I would stay at https://www.caravanclub.co.uk/certificated-locations/england/devon/woolacombe/spreacombe-lodge-farm/

We stayed at North Morte Farm and recommend it.  Not a CL but good location with sea views, short stroll to village and Woolacombe.
