Woke up late due to a person going around unplugging hook ups to do a test at 07.00 in the morning,  by unplugging the power it switched off my alarm and made us sleep in which messed up our plans for the day, Well done Looe site management (NOT)

indeed each to their own, it was a plug in one I was amazed at. Too much faff on having to plug it in and set the time every new trip, for me that is.

Besides think of the wasted electricity when no one is there to look at it?smile

Actually I use my wristwatch (has a soft light) to tell the time during night hours, and yes I sleep with it on!!

I'd need to find some specs to read my watch in the dark .... my arms are only just long enough at the best of times t9 read my watch. 😉

You surely don't need your phone on to use as an alarm? I have a 12 year old phone that I use as an alarm. It is switched off for all but 5 seconds a day. It switches on when the alarm time is reached and sounds off. I usually up and dressed by 6.30 am and when it sounds off at 7am I am ready for it. laughing

Not really. I don't watch TV though tongue-out

If I wanted to view youtube though I would choose my 10'' tablet in preference as I like my phone small.

Getting back to the OP. We came back to our caravan last year to find that the Alko control panel had obviously been without power at sometime and later discovered that the post had been replaced some time though the day. Nobody warned us of the replacement but it made no odds.

If it's like my alarm at home. If the power goes off, the clock starts counting from 12:00. You can therefore calculate what time it came back on at. It doesn't of course tell you how long it was off for.

Think I would nod off again trying to remember that.

This appears to be the one and only post the op has made so all the suggestions seem to count for zilch
