I have an Antara SE Nav  2013 that i am thinking of upgrading to a Jeep Grand Cherokee.

They seem more than capable tow cars and good family cars, so aside of MPG, (as i dont expect to get high MPG from a 3.0ltr V6), has anyone used these for towing and could provide any feedback.

Thanks

Mark

We have had four Jeeps in total, including a Grand and a Cherokee. All reliable, superb for towing. We have a couple of Wranglers at moment, you get rather a lot for your money with a Jeep. Be aware Fiat own the Jeep brand name now, I know Wranglers are still made in the States, not sure about other models. We had a new Grand as a courtesy car for a few days, very impressive, although we didn't tow with it. Renegades are ok, Jeep badged Fiat in truth, but comfy and swish inside. How good the dealers are varies, so walk away if you aren't happy with one dealer, and haggle for some extras!

3500 kg towing capacity and if i had the money would get one tomorrow. you will be suprised about fuel ecconomy as could be close to what you get with the Antara or even better as the Vauxhall was renowned for poor mpg.

Just ordered a Grand Cherokee Overland. Pre Reg with 27 miles on.

Got a good deal , so thought id take the plunge.

Nice ride and plenty of grunt so should be more than capable towing our Coachman 520/4

very nice and very jealous. you could pull two of the vans behind that. haha. have you seen the jeep offer on the grand. £8500 contribution and 4 years interest free on a PCP. looks inviting.

Yes, better deal with Pre Reg though. Only 27 miles on the clock so its effectively a brand new car. £19k saving from new RRP price.

The jeep offer with the £8500 dealer contribution is very good, but if you dont mind taking a pre reg, the savings are even bigger.

Haggle, and haggle hard.....surprising what you can get them to add on.  laughing Enjoy your new Jeep!

could you please let us know how you get on with it and how you get on with the foot/hand brake peddle thingy. seems a bit old fashioned after having electric handbrake button. cheers. also, can I ask who the dealer was.
