Has anyone ever had a worktop satisfactorily replaced? SWMBO decided to break up a bag of ice in the middle of a worktop last night & surprise surprise she's dented  the blasted thing ...... but it apparently wasn't her fault!! 😡😡😡😡

I had a kitchen worktop replaced on a Swift 15 years ago. No idea of cost but it was a totally successful replacement. We bought an ex display caravan where some of the edging was loose. A couple of self tappers was the temporary repair by the dealer whilst he awaited the replacement top

Thanks Allan. I'll enquire when I get home  ... in the mean time I'll have a bl**dy big dent to look at. 😐

Repairable? Several products and solutions have been previously suggested in other similar threads.

Thanks. It'll give me something else to sort when I get back home on top of putting her car back together & MOTing it 😣

If you can get the worktop out you could purchase a new from DIY suppliers and use damaged one as a template. I bet a bench joiner could cut it for you at a reasonable price. Then the vandal could have her choice of design.

Possible I suppose but .... the damaged bit is butted up to another piece that extends behind the oven adjacent to it. And besides its hollow to save weight .... which allowed itvto be dented in the first place. 😔 and its only about 3/4" thick

To say I'm not pleased ..... sealed

Being a 2013 model, I would guess that a replacement worktop would available from coachman. Might be a tad pricey, but would be a perfect fit and leave the van in original condition
